I would honestly recommend Rebecca’s services to anyone who is having issues with their teen; she was a God - send for my family and I, and we will never forget her. -Amy
When my son was in the eighth grade, my husband and I noticed a drastic change in his behavior. Prior to this, our son had been a pretty good student; we had the usual issues but nothing out of the normal. The change in our child’s behavior came out of the blue and I must admit it was a lot to deal with.
I work in the mental health field as well, but that didn’t make this an easy ride. In my opinion it actually made it more difficult because I am familiar with the stigma that may come along with having a child diagnosed with a behavioral issue. In some instances, I was ashamed of this and I did not want anyone to know what I was dealing with in my house.
After thinking about this situation for several months, my husband and I decided to go ahead and seek services for our son. I was a bit leery at first but I knew that seeking services would benefit my child. My son had received services in the past, services that I was not at all impressed with.
I spoke to several of my colleagues and they referred me to Rebecca. I feel as if it was nothing short of blessing. Rebecca was outstanding and able to reach my son on levels that no one else could, she took her time with him and actually tried to understand the things that he was facing; she also had no problem relaying things to me so that I would better understand the things that were going on with him as well.
Mrs. Rebecca always maintained her professionalism and she had my child’s best interest at heart. We were devastated when Mrs., Rebecca had to leave, I actually tried to convince her to Skype so we could continue services (Lol). Today my son is 16 years-old and doing well; he often asks about Mrs. Rebecca and says things like “I remember how Mrs. Rebecca told me to use my coping skills”. He still actually has one project that they did on his desk right now.

If you’re having a hard time with coping, I highly recommend speaking with someone. It’s a very helpful tool. Thank you for all your support, Rebecca.

My counseling sessions were great experiences. I sought out help. I’m going to be a new mother and I wanted to be aware of my triggers and how I can cope before my child arrives. I was struggling with depression, anxiety, and I can be irritable at times.
Therapy was another great support system I needed in my life. It helped with guidance, self knowledge, and provided information I needed to move forward. It helped me communicate with my family in a more healthy way. I also did self-exploration to gain a deeper understanding of myself.
Seeking out counseling provided me with the comfort of knowing I can speak about personal issues without being judged.
